More about recolo design
Freelance Graphic Designer in Cambridgeshire
How it started...
After 13 years of working in design agencies, I set up Recolo Design in 2009 and wanted an identity that combined both my initials with a purposeful meaning. Recolo is a Latin name meaning; to consider, cultivate, revive and refresh and design is the day job.
Recolo's values...
I strive to deliver a commitment to quality, cost effectively. I don't believe in cherry picking jobs. I'm equally comfortable artworking quick turnaround projects, to creative briefs with long lead times. I have a flexible, down-to-earth approach and can work on a freelance basis. My aim is to provide agency standard design at reduced rates (minus the agency faff).
How the process works...
I listen to your design requirements then visualise some designs and email them back. After your feedback, I'll develop and amend them accordingly. When you're happy to sign-off, I'll send you the print ready files or help you with print. I won't use fancy design jargon or any 'blue sky' speak.
Out of office...
I enjoy being outdoors. I feel most alive when the wind and rain are battering my face. Mountains fascinate me and I respect being in their presence. I'd rather be in the Lakes than Lanzarote. After decades of playing football in the Cambs Senior & Hellenic leagues, I joined a tennis club and now play competitively. I enjoy photography, cycling, music, caravanning and walking our rescued dog. I'm forever learning to play guitar and I occasionally play golf and snowboard.
